Our work is designed to increase compliance and ensure the safety of employees and the public with workable procedures, streamlined services, and effective use of technology.

SmartSOP: Lockout/Tagout and Standard Operating Procedures
SmartSOP was our first application created in partnership with DKF. SmartSOP acts as a safe repository for the Lockout/Tagout Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures for government agencies and corporations.
Because these procedures are critical to the safety of workers in hazardous situations, the application had to be easy to use for both technical and nontechnical users.
To ensure that applications could be easily accessed regardless of the worksite, AndPlus created a cross-platform application using the Cordova framework for mobile devices and the Electron framework for desktop apps. The apps all share a common codebase utilizing web-based technologies. All of the applications are able to sync data offline for use in places with no connectivity, and display the steps for each procedure in an easy-to-read UI designed by AndPlus.
SmartSurvey and Job Competencies Builder:
In order to better ensure that agencies are keeping up with training standards, DKF and AndPlus partnered to create a survey application for these agencies. AndPlus designed an attractive and attention-grabbing UX that allows agencies to easily understand their current training levels. Bright colors and an intelligently-designed UI make the data resonate with users and ensure that agencies are conscious of which areas require more attention.
SmartSurvey is one of AndPlus' most recent collaborations with DKF. The web application is designed to help public agencies understand what kind of training their employees need to go through to ensure that they are safely and legally performing their duties. Many agencies are not aware of the regulatory requirements around safety training, and in many cases employees can be in situations they are not trained for, putting themselves and others in danger.
SmartSurvey works hand-in-hand with another AndPlus/DKF product, the Job Competencies Builder, in which parent agencies can create standard job profiles and list any required training needed for various positions across the organization. Together, agencies can use these products to mitigate risk and ensure that all of their employees are properly, and safely, trained.
